Aloha and welcome to Hamakua Hideaway, a historic oceanfront estate that embodies the beauty and serenity of the Big Island’s sacred Waipi’o Valley. Our coastal island paradise encompasses 3.5 acres of lush, native foliage from abundant fruit trees to exotic flowers. The Ohana House is located at the heart of the estate and flanked by two cottages, Bamboo Hale and the Aloha Cottage, with a pristine stream and waterfall to one side, and bamboo forest on the other.
The estate also encompasses three distinct zones surrounding the cottages, including Mauka Meadows and Papaya Plateau, each featuring native plants, fruit trees, healing herbs, and colorful fauna planned in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
All three cottages celebrate the beauty and culture of our pristine setting, with vaulted ceilings and
180-degree views of Waipi’o Valley, the black-sand beach, and the azure waters of the Pacific.
